About ExchangeAlumni

About the alumni.state.gov website

Welcome to the ExchangeAlumni community! Alumni.state.gov is a website accessible to the general public and all who have participated and completed a U.S. government-funded or sponsored exchange program. Learn about the work of two million alumni and get the latest alumni news, including alerts on our monthly, career-focused video series MentorTalks.

You can also find information on alumni funding opportunities, such as the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) and the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund (CDAF) competitions, on this website. In addition, you can learn about Alumni Thematic International Exchange Seminars (TIES), which offer the chance to compete for small grant projects, and Career Connections, a professional development seminar offered to U.S. citizen ExchangeAlumni.

If you’re an ExchangeAlumni, you can access even more on our members-only portal at exchangealumni.state.gov. The exchangealumni portal is where you can find with fellow alumni, participate in events, connect and collaborate in group discussions, search for upcoming career opportunities, access additional grant opportunities through two funding databases, and more. Join us at exchangealumni.state.gov to gain access to these opportunities, plus a variety of paid journals and other online resources -- all for free!

Join us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates, and on LinkedIn, to connect with more exchange alumni and hear about career opportunities and professional development tips.
