Bolivian alumni inspired 500 high school and university students from La Paz and El Alto to volunteer during the first ever Inspiration Fair.

The alumni, who are professionals in science, law, and social work, mentored the students on the value of internships, career options and highlighted the importance of volunteering in their communities. Students learned about opportunities to volunteer for causes such as raising awareness on Afro-Bolivian and diversity issues, protecting the environment, promoting girls education, LGBT rights, and getting involved in after-school programs.

The fifteen mentors are alumni of various exchange programs including Fulbright, International Visitor Leadership Program, Youth Ambassadors, College Horizons, English Access Microscholarship, and Study of the U.S. Institutes.
