The Eco-preneurship Camp is also design to increase awareness of the Indonesia young generation about global environments issues by giving knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivation, and commitment in order to solve environmental problems either individually or in groups and also present a contribution to prevent the emergence of new environment problems.

Kids Camp "When little heroes take action"

This project intends to attract the attention of youngsters and local governments on equipping adequate knowledge and skills to cope with emergency situations of unusual natural disasters. Through 2-day training camp and widely-issued guideline, the project desires to train 1000 young talented leaders as well as 500 resource teachers in remote areas of Vietnam in order to develop and foster such kind of capacity building model among kids from 10-15 years old. The project Kids Camp:?When little heroes take action? will be run by a team of Vietnamese State Alumni who have participated in various U.S Government sponsored exchange programs. This team contains of young specialists as well as students in premier universities in Vietnam, and they do share a common concern for educational and environmental issues. This small project was actually successfully and effectively carried out in June 2012, but just in a small scale with 30 children aged 10-13 and 10 teachers from a remote district in Hue, Vietnam. This time, when re-proposing this project, we hope to expand to larger scale all over Vietnam, to any part of the country that suffers from natural disasters every year. Our project team contains 3 members in the same program SUSI2010: Huong Do, Tran Phan, and Ha Trinh.

This project will help children, schools and communities in disaster-hit areas learn about how to cope with disaster and climate change in Vietnam in an active way and build a safer life. Trainers will be active students, youths and volunteers, who receive materials and supports to deliver interactive learning methods and reaching out to schools and communities in vulnerable areas.

iCARE project

In general, iCARE project have the following goals: (1) Together with teachers, we help students broaden and understand the knowledge of energy saving and waste recycling. (2) Equip a group of 35-45 outstanding students with essential skills and knowledge to become green leaders and change agents themselves, such as leadership, presentation, and teamwork. (3) Provide students activities and events for them to take part in, make actual actions and feel motivated to continue saving their community.

Your Used Stuff is Your Donation

This project is basically works as secondhand shop that operated by the members of my organization named Ranita and Amal Insani Foundation. We collect the used-goods from the donators, some will be firstly recycled and the goods with a better condition will be directly sold through Amal Insani secondhand shop. My objective is to hold some campaigns and promotions about the benefit of this program to people in the targeted areas, especially children at schools. Hence, the goal is to increase the number of the donators to reach at least 200 people in two months.
