RAINBOW RECYCLING OUTREACH

-Rainbow Recycling Outreach For Ecological Waste Management in targeted Schools of Masina I health area, in Kinshasa D.R. Congo. (ROFEWASMA-DRC 2018).To raise awareness of pupils, staff and other stakeholders coming in schools by a sensitization outreach, and insure capacity building by training them on the ecological solid waste management, namely by sorting out and disposing it in different colored bins in the 5 targeted schools, including some CSO members of the community in Masina I health area. The topics will be namely “Solid waste and the 5 principles for its ecological management in schools”. “How to facilitate recycling programs with schools generated waste.” “Elementary notions of marketing (for advertising recycled products.” ”CBC (Communication for Behavior Change) approach.Girls and boys of DRC studying in the 5 targeted schools of Masina will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in their respective communities, thanks to ecological waste recycling programs protecting humanity. Moreover, the ecological school waste management will introduce new behavior within the community, and children will bring home positive strategies on waste issues, for safer life.
