The Basic Principles on the role of lawyers have not been clearly recognized to date by the UN General Assembly as well. The rights comprised in the Basic Principles on the role of lawyers are also generally incorporated in mandatory “international or local human rights treaties, for example the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Convention Against Torture, and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Humiliating Behavior or Punishment, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights, the US Convention on Human Rights and the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights”(ibid). Therefore, there is a dire need to work on the capacity building and training of young lawyers and which is the major focus of this research.

Empowering the women & facilitating the schools

With the rapid growth in population education is the basic need of every child and it is the responsibility of the government to provide it. However, due to the insufficient numbers of government schools, it could not address the needs with its particular challenges. Since the area is packed with private schools that mostly shoulder the burden of government regarding primary and secondary education, most of the workforce comprising young ladies consist of teachers. These schools are always short of teachers due to consistent up-gradation of qualification, salaries and work hours. Taleem Art wants to target this issue by providing teachers training, in this way we will not only help the school to get qualified well trained teachers but also provide an opportunity to the teachers to get a stable earning source for themselves.
