Sweet Potato Initiative for Nutrition and Wealth (SPINAW)

The Sweet Potato Initiative for Nutrition and Wealth (SPINAW) is a one-year project that addresses malnutrition among children under 5 years by using orange-fleshed sweet potato to contribute to the reduction of Vitamin A deficiency thus reducing cases of night blindness; and contributes to fighting food insecurity in Kenya using vitamin A-rich sweet potato.
