The War Toys® nonprofit organization, helmed by former Fulbright Specialist Brian McCarty, is looking for pro bono assistance with an innovative pilot project. With a board of directors that includes veterans of Mattel, Disney Consumer Products, and Sesame Workshop, Brian and his team are working to positively steer the designs of very inexpensive generic toys found everywhere on Earth.
War Toys is fostering nonprofit-commercial collaborations with manufacturers in China to provide millions of children access to toys with better inherent play patterns, messaging, and representation. Still a young organization, War Toys needs helps with grant writing and research, translation (Mandarin-English), and legal support – particularly in mainland China.
