Celebrating 80 Years of IVLP, and You're Invited!

Dear Alumni,

All year, the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs has been celebrating 80 years of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) and the power of exchanges. Now it's time for our final celebration - and you're invited!

The virtual reception/celebration will be held December 9, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time (Washington, D.C.). You can register through the website.

The celebration will last about 75 minutes and will include a few stories from our alumni, plus a special message from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair - an IVLP alumnus - about the power of exchanges. After the reception, we will host a 45-minute workshop to help you develop your personal IVLP Moment through a collaboration with StoryCenter. Please note that the reception and workshop will only be in English. To participate, please register at:

You can also participate on social media by sharing your own self-recorded 2-4 minute video telling your own personal IVLP story with #MyIVLPMoment!
