In Memory of Royhan Benasetya of Indonesia

On November 2, 2014, the International Exchange Alumni family lost a dear friend, Royhan Benasetya of Indonesia, a 2011 alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). A dedicated educator who strove tirelessly to better the lives of his students, Royhan epitomized the IVLP spirit of open engagement, with a desire to build trust and understanding between people. He encouraged his students visit @america, a digital cultural center where visitors can explore and experience the United States, to inspire them to pursue a higher education and a better future. Royhan was a positive force for education and for Indonesian youth. He will be dearly missed.
