Ons Kharrat, TechGirl 2017 exchange alumna and Pioneer High School student in Tunisia, is inspiring the next generation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) students. Kharrat helps young Tunisian learners “use modern technology in a positive way,” empowering them to be change makers on the road to higher education. She recently participated in the Tunisian Model United Nations (MUN) simulation, presenting for the delegation of Mexico and receiving the “Best Delegate” award for successfully defending women’s rights.
