Although health care delivery is a team work where each personnel is equally important in his own field , yet , nurses and midwives are considered the backbone of each health institution because they render direct services to patients and clients . Nurses spend more time with patients than any other health care personnel , as such , a very good relationship has to be developed between the nurses and patients/clients in order to ensure effective delivery of care .

General Hospital Daura is a government owned secondary health institution located in Daura local government area of Katsina State , Nigeria . It consists of more than 100 nurses and midwives who run different shifts in different departments and units .

I am professionally a registered nurse ; therefore , I understand all that's happening between nurses and their clients/patients . The relationship we have in General Hospital Daura with patients is quite encouraging , but because of work overload and misunderstanding , cases arise where the relationship deteriorates , thus , affecting the quality of care .

This program is aimed at improving the relationship between nurses and their clients/patients , so that , the quality of care is enhanced . The program will be held within 2 weeks , within which all the nurses and midwives in the hospital will be given lectures by Psychologists . The lectures will centralize mainly on the attitudes of people in different circumstances giving emphasis on the sick and ill because human beings portray completely different attitude when they are sick . Although , all nurses and midwives undergo training in Psychology and Behavioral Science in schools , this program will further develop them as it is going to be led by group of experts . The nurses and midwives will be divided by the number of days (14 days ) , depending on roster flexibility .

The funding for the program will be used for sponsoring the presenters for 2 weeks . Five presenters will be invited , viz :
1. 2 Psychologists
2. Director Nursing Services I/C of the hospital
3. 2 Scholars ( Muslim/Christian ) , whose contribution will be mainly on educating and enlightening the nurses and midwives on the significance of creating good relationship with their clients and patients , and the benefits hereafter of caring and serving humanity .

The funding will also be used in feeding the participants during each session for the whole 2 weeks . Part of the funding will be used in providing shirts and P-Caps with the name of the program sponsors on them , and for provision of certificates of participation to the participants .

Lastly , the program is decided to be held in 2 weeks because nurses and midwives can't be available at once as they run shifts , therefore , a date and time will be given to each depending on their duty rosters .

We are a small Afghan refugee society (about forty families) in the Kingdom of Cambodia. All of us are waiting to complete our refugee cases, and the process may take more than a year. therefore, we decided to take the advantage of the time and for those especially young ladies who want to learn modern fashion including dressing design from the Cambodian society facilitate the pathway.
Young ladies hope to learn the skills and make their self-empowered arms open new doors and windows for their future.
I am hopeful to be funded for this grant and help girls and women to be independent in near future in a new and competitive society.

Es un proyecto que estoy creando para sembrar árboles en las cabeceras de los ríos que subsidian a mi comunidad, la cual en este proyecto un grupo de jóvenes de mi comunidad sembraremos arboles para que nuestros ríos permanezcan en buen estado, ya que en estos últimos tiempos nuestros ríos están siendo desforestados y contaminados por aquellas personas que no son capaz de reconocer la función tan importante que implican los arboles

There is a real need to make people aware of the resources that are unused to preserve the flora and the fauna in these time of extreme drought.The action we are taking is is to use these resources.
