School Up-Green

As today's youth will be tomorrow's leaders, the idea is to create an environment that is conducive to proper practice and an environment that they will want to create for themselves wherever they may be and whatever career they may want to pursue. When they pursue their careers for service, they don't have to be called "environmentalist" ? because what we aim for is a time when we are able to live sustainably and resiliently, and that caring for the environment is innate in everyone's culture.

Green Angkor

This project aims to raise awareness of bad side effects of loitering. Our target groups will be students ranging from primary, secondary and high school, and local people in Siem Reap City. We are hoping to influence the good habit of disposing wastes of students, the locals and tourists, and to promote the clean environment around the tourist? sites. The project will gather youths together to exchange and share environmental concerns and solutions, as well as to take action to contribute to green environment. The activities of the three days event include workshop, lectures, practices, and entertainment. To empower future leaders, we also offer a small budget package as an incentive to outstanding volunteer to compete for and initiate the like project in other areas in Cambodia.

The Ecopreneurship Camp is a good way to teach potential young business person to not only gain profit from business but also give contribution to tackle global environmental problems. The purposes of this activity are: 1. The Eco-preneurship Camp is designed to instill environmental awareness among young leaders in Indonesia who are the potential future policy making on environmental issues nationally. It is also designed for young business person who could develop a business with the basis of environmental sustainability for the better future life. 2. The Eco-preneurship Camp is also design to increase awareness of the Indonesia young generation about global environments issues by giving knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivation, and commitment in order to solve environmental problems either individually or in groups and also present a contribution to prevent the emergence of new environment problems.

iCARE project

In general, iCARE project have the following goals: (1) Together with teachers, we help students broaden and understand the knowledge of energy saving and waste recycling. (2) Equip a group of 35-45 outstanding students with essential skills and knowledge to become green leaders and change agents themselves, such as leadership, presentation, and teamwork. (3) Provide students activities and events for them to take part in, make actual actions and feel motivated to continue saving their community.

After returning home from her exchange program on human rights in the United States, Sharon worked with 21 other Rwandan exchange alumni students and educators to launch high school human rights clubs throughout Rwanda.

BAGUIO GREEN 360: Fostering Environmentally and Socially Responsible Behavior through Green Journalism

The project aims to develop a local publication featuring ?green? businesses, resources and information as a means to promote environmentally sustainable behavior among the residents, tourists and establishments in Baguio City, Philippines. The program will also integrate a green business program which will assist and recognize businesses and institutions within the city who strive to operate in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
