IME Youth Projects

“IME Projects” is an inspirational, motivational and entrepreneurial leadership training and seminary events platform. Its purpose is to raise awareness of being the best you can be, the importance of being focused and purpose-driven, and the significance of living your life by design rather than by default. Through taking heed of wisdom and living an honorable and yet appealing lifestyle to the youth’s eye, we have sought to make this path a mandate for all. With the desire and zeal to see young people in our community and to the kingdom at large as the cool and yet entertaining voice of reason, we have incorporated these platforms for addressing challenges that we are currently facing as the youth in our community so as to discover and unleash leaders of tomorrow. IME is therefore aimed at creating entrepreneurial leaders who will serve as agents or advocates of change in different spheres of economic development within the Ezulwini community and to the kingdom of Eswatini at large. Problem Statement The potential contributions of young people in our community are significantly compromised by a host of challenges including but not limited to high vulnerability to (a) unemployment (b) low self-esteem (c) amassed level of drug addiction and usage (d) barriers to accessing education or training initiative for creative and talented minds (e) fake lifestyle (f) absence of mentors (g) absence of seed capital to potential businesses (h) impatience, (i) detriment of moral values and norms. Because of this our youth is demotivated, unproductive, lack inspiration, and ultimately live a life absent of purpose. They now believe/ rely on job security as being better than starting and running their own inventions due to high risk in business and limited funds. Our young people have been brainwashed into believing that the governmental system puts them at a disadvantage in that it is evidently designed to hinder success among the youth. Conversely, we as young people are now forced to believe that success is only guaranteed to the privileged hence the only reason why we don’t succeed is that the system is against us. That those who have been able to succeed in our jurisdiction either come from rich families where there is already a stepping stone to initiate the sought success. *My philosophy for this project is based on the notion that success is governed by laws of which if one acknowledges, practices, and applies success would be inevitable in any area of life.

Meals Accomodation

Expiration: April 1, 2020

logic over emotions cinema/feed scheme is a motivational movement vested with the task of addressing poverty and hunger endure by self-sponsored students within the University of Eswatini. This will be made possible through 50% of profits generated on the cinema to provide these students with a daily meal accommodation. Our strategy is to run a cinema which will screen the latest, motivational and educational movies to every full-time student in our university every Friday when the weekly academic business comes to an end. Our inspiration for this project has been to cater for students who endure high academic demands to a rehabilitation and refreshing platform through a movie treat on a social network.

As students of law in the university of Eswatini and aspiring lawyers, legal scholars and members of the judiciary we are faced with an immerse problem as we not part of the governments priority for scholarship and thus we are self-sponsored. Law is the only full-time course which is not funded by our government and as a result much to our struggle is the absence of food, books, personal allowance and tuition fee among other things we therefore encounter difficulty in producing quality results as a of an unfavorable learning environment resulting in poor academic performance. The law requires constant reading as habit and developing such a habit is a hassle on an empty stomach. We therefore seek to curb hunger in our faculty.

We pride ourselves as social entrepreneurs and on this notion it has been our greatest desire to dedicate 50% of our profits towards the aid of underprivileged self-sponsored students through meals. This been our long term goal has been conceived through the immerse problem of hunger amongst these students. As a self-sponsored student I can attest that it is very difficult to study on an empty stomach and much of our poor performance emanate from hunger. This provision will be made possible if we persist in selling out our tickets for movie nights every time we screen.
