Simultaneous Satellite Exhibitions

This project proposes a model for expansion of museum collections and education in underserved locations. "Simultaneous Satellite Exhibitions" (SSE) suggests to create open and easy access to many museum collections for the populations of geographically remote and culturally underserved areas. 1. Citizens of the ares that are situated far from megapolis locations and museums have little access to museum resources and multidisciplinary educational programs. 2. Large museums in megapolis areas have expanded stored collections while exhibiting only 5%-10% of their collections. SSE suggests using digitized museum collections to create exhibitions and educational programming for geographically remote and culturally underserved populations. These simultaneous satellite locations are an effective way to expand stored collections of several museums at a time, serve culture and education to the populations and encourage them creatively.
