Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2016

Are you part of the International Exchange Alumni network? Then get ready for the 2016 Alumni Engagement Innovation FundAEIF! This is your chance to work with your fellow alumni to earn up to $25,000 to support your innovative projects. Last year, we selected 48 winners worldwide from more than 800 submitted project proposals.
If you think your idea has what it takes to win this year, log in to the International Exchange Alumni website and start building your proposal and budget today!
Are you familiar with AEIF? We want you to know about some changes this year: 1. AEIF teams must have at least four alumni instead of five, who are registered on the website. This number includes the team leader; 2. Because of that you must now submit a complete budget along with the final proposal; 3. There is no voting, and; 4. There is no finalist phase; and 4. This year, there is no voting! IEA members can still comment and provide feedback on proposals.
To get started, click on “Submit a Project.” From there, a project submission form will guide you through the process.
A couple of tips: remember, you must have at least four alumni team members. Only proposals that meet this requirement will be considered. U.S. citizens can be team members but not team leaders. Team leaders, who submit the projects, must be non-U.S. citizens.
Need help finding team members? Use the Alumni Directory on the website or contact the Public Affairs Section at your country’s U.S. Embassy or consulate.
Remember all proposals are due by Noon ET on March 9, 2016. Don’t miss the submission deadline! Teams can refine project proposals up until the deadline, but final proposals and budgets must be submitted through the website before noon on March 9. We will announce the 2016 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund winners in late April.
