The goal of Harmony is to provide music workshops between 2 and half months for 25 children and youth from underserved areas in Jordan. These participants in turn will transfer their knowledge to more than 200 members of their families.
OBJECTIVES
➢ Raise the awareness about the importance of multiculturalism through music activities given to the children.
➢ Involve children in music workshops where they will learn about American music, musical instruments, famous artists and musicians along with their history.
➢ Increase the number of knowledgeable children and youth in Jordan within the field of Music.
➢ Positive redirection of disconnected youth in areas with higher rates of crime and poverty.
➢ Helping children and youth develop positive behavior.
➢ Engage and connect youth to supportive services including recreation of musical
instrument out of simple materials.
➢ Engaging both females and males to work together with no sex racism through music.

CHANCE Camp
Expiration: July 6, 2018The purpose of CHANCE Camp is to bring together graduating English Career students and first year English teachers of different Universities from Nueva Guinea and Managua to gain a better understanding of American values as well as the United States educational system and society to celebrate and honor both American and Nicaraguan cultures.
During the weeklong intensive seminar, participants will have the opportunity to study, investigate, discuss, and participate in dynamic activities highlighting fundamental aspects of both United States and Nicaraguan culture to increase their teaching potential and practices.
CHANCE Camp is pleased to share a dash of American culture, including its educational system and society, to graduating English Students and first year English teachers through CHANCE Camp. During this week, participants will take seminars, listen to panel discussions, and watch films. We will focus on helping English Student teachers and English teachers have a better understanding of American culture; as a result, they will be able to integrate it into their teaching.

Description
Slum Film Festival is a community based annual event featuring stories from, by and about people living in urban slums. It is both a celebration of the creativity of filmmakers living and working in slums, as well as an opportunity to promote – through a week of outdoor screenings – a diverse range of films within communities with limited or no access to cinema.
