ZARAK-YES, WE CAN

First project as president of our NGO Zarak Raising Standards; for a range of benefits to students of a far flung district Sohbat Pur, Balochistan. One day Spring Gala event in each school have sessions, games, contests, free stuffs, and prizes for every student. Project has focused both girls and boys schools to equalize the opportunities available.

Youth start-up business incubator and accelerator Business-Optimism

Youth start-up business incubator and accelerator Business-Optimism will serve the promotion of entrepreneurship culture and developing entrepreneurial road-map for youth. Firstly will be developed special road-map with all steps on how to find and formulate business ideas, business-planning, etc. Secondly will be organized a special consulting window with access to information and series of trainings, master-classes, seminars and conferences will be conducted in the Universities and schools. This project will show development because there are no such opportunities for youth and it will become a pioneer step in this way.

El presente proyecto est? destinado a fortalecer las organizaciones comunitarias para la gesti?n del desarrollo local, as? como mejorar la asociatividad entre las organizaciones contiguas, con lo cual se pretende tambi?n propiciar el surgimiento de l?deres y liderazgo en estas organizaciones. Se promover? el fortalecimiento de gesti?n de los sistemas financieros locales, que habiendo acumulado una buena experiencia, adquieran nuevos conocimientos, herramientas y se pongan a tono con la tecnolog?a actual y con t?cnicas de atenci?n al cliente. Se implementar?n unidades productivas comunitarias basadas en las capacidades consensuadas por las mismas comunidades, este proceso tendr? un acompa?amiento t?cnico que minimice los riesgos de que se produzcan desatinos y por el contrario aseguren la obtenci?n de resultados positivos que contribuyan al mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de los involucrados.

Empowering Through Sewing ( ETS )

Around 70 % of Yemeni people live in rural areas, and 80 percent of these people live on less than US$ 2 a day, IFAD, 2011. Poverty is one of the main obstacles that hinders Yemeni rural girls access to education, and forces them to drop out of school at an early age. This project tries to alleviate the poverty phenomenon by employing a micro-enterprise approach which will help 25 rural young women in Yemen to create a sustainable small business.
