Academic Autonomous Reading

This project will enable rural female students who are studying in scientific colleges in Taiz University, Hodiedah University and Ibb University to improve their English reading skills for the purpose of academic and research study. Students will be trained on using reading and searching websites to become good autonomous readers.

Women City Watch

The project is aimed at making Ukrainian cities more women-friendly. It will be held in five cities and include a monitoring phase (main infrastructure problems that restrict women?s everyday activities will be identified and marked on a special map) and an advocacy phase (pressuring local governments to solve the problems).

Healing Journey for NKD Women

This project will empower North Korean defector (NKD) women by providing them safe opportunities to heal from abuse and trauma experienced during their escape. Assessment of NKD women, training for mental health professionals, and the development of a customized therapeutic healing program will pinpoint their mental health needs, for successful resettlement in South Korea.
