Master's Thesis Data Collection: The Impact of Study Abroad Programs on Student Development

I am a current graduate student conducting research on the impact of study abroad programs on student development, with the hopes of informing the IIE and Generation Study Abroad initiative with my results. Chinese Studies Program

The Chinese Studies Program is an initiative with the goal of extending language learning services to students from marginalized backgrounds. The purpose of the program is three-fold: 1) to provide critical assistance to the Chinese teacher at MLK Magnet school and the Chinese hall coordinator in Vanderbilt's McTyeire Hall, 2) address the challenges middle school, high school, and college students face when learning Chinese, and 3) train undergraduate and graduate students interested in the teaching and learning of Chinese.

This project will aim at assisting the Nigerian young stars, communities, women and vulnerable children to enhance alternative ways of leaving and alleviate violence. It plans to evolve a new community economic and social way of life that can insure active participations in governance and self-sustenance. The project shall organize medium of training of enrollees and member communities in civic education and active participations in governance, Modern Agricultural techniques, financial education and skills acquisition. The project will serve as guarantor to trainees to access soft loans for startups and a constant mentor-mentee relationships with the trainees over specified period.
