BOOKimpact

This project "BOOKimpact" is a self initiated project to spread the impact of my IVLP Experience as alumnus of the American Libraries PROJECT 2014. The project specifically targets displaced children without access to formal learning environments, using books as a reformatory tool for social integration. It aims at eliminating barriers which inhibit the passion for reading outside formal school environment, and the promotion of a conscious desire for reading.

Float in Flood Project

"Float in Flood" is a project initiated by 4 Vietnamese participants from the 2015 Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Program (organized by U.S. Department of State) - Study of the U.S. Institute in Global Environmental Issues. The main activities of the project are as follow: giving out floating backpacks, training about emergency cases/self-help skills during flooding seasons and building floating gardens. The project is planned to be carried out from 28 to 30 September, 2015 in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam with the purpose of enhancing natural disaster mitigation in the local area.
