Center of Civic Engagement

Involves: lesson plan design, project website, video tutorials, on-site and online workshops for 30 teachers. Outreach: 2700 pupils from rural/marginalized and urban areas (50%-50%).

Transparent Energy Governance

Using as a major tool the methodology of the U.S. Energy Security Risk Index, the project will map the availability of public data and the need for disclosure of other related information. The focus is on both raising public awareness among citizens and foster knowledge sharing among experts by providing online visual tool based on recombination of open public data.

Women City Watch

The project is aimed at making Ukrainian cities more women-friendly. It will be held in five cities and include a monitoring phase (main infrastructure problems that restrict women?s everyday activities will be identified and marked on a special map) and an advocacy phase (pressuring local governments to solve the problems).

Peacebuilding in Eastern Europe 2.0

Peace building in Eastern Europe 2.0 is a 7 day conference starting in August 2014 to empower an Alumni Network of youth diplomats working to understand frozen conflicts and combat misinformation in times of political turmoil in Eastern Europe. The seminar will consist of lectures, workshops, debate sessions and field trips to Gagauz-Yeri, Transnistria (MD) and Kiev (UA).

Fight Club

A youth community policing and mentoring program to be set up at 30 universities in Malaysia and become the voluntarily arms, eyes and ears of the authorities in combating crimes, bullying and gangsterism among youth. Members will be equipped with skills / knowledge on crime prevention and tools to enable them to communicate and share safety information more effectively.
